In 2017, Johnsonville wanted its sausage to be the most snacked-on snack at big-game parties. To do so, they couldn’t just push out any game-day recipes; they needed to find the most earth-shattering dishes around. But how could a sweet, family-owned company from Sheboygan unearth the most elite sausage treats out there? An all-out sausage reality show, of course.

“You can’t spell sausage without USA”. It’s a fact and Johnsonville’s mantra when in comes to making Brats right here in America.

So for this round of the “Made the Johnsonville Way” campaign, we asked real employees to come up with their own American brat commercial. We ended up going with Tammy’s idea for a spot which combined her favorite things: musicals, brats, and, of course… AMERICA!!!

In 2017, Johnsonville wanted to continue its employee-focused “Made The Johnsonville Way” campaign with the introduction of their new limited-time flavors: Firecracker Brats, Chipotle and Monterey Jack Brats, and Red Wine and Cheese Italian Sausage—Brats so flavorful that they deserved their own taglines. And who better to come up with those slogans than the actual creators of those flavors?
